Complete eye exams including screening for diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, and prescriptions for eyeglasses are offered.

Do you offer vision exams and prescription glasses?

Yes, an optometrist is available 3 days a week to perform eye exams and to dispense prescriptions for eyeglasses, however, we do not dispense glasses here at NHHC.

How do I schedule an eye exam appointment?

You can schedule an appointment by calling us at 956-548-7400. You may also schedule an appointment via ZocDoc.com by scanning our QR code on our website. Patient must have a referral from their Primary Care Physician to be seen. At the time of booking, we can verify patient insurance information and if a pre-authorization is needed. Patients who are uninsured can also apply for a sliding fee discount and an application can be provided for supporting documentation.

Are there treatments for common eye conditions like glaucoma and cataracts?

An ophthalmologist is available for consultation by referral only, to diagnose and treat glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, and cataracts.
